University of South Carolina Aiken

Building partnerships has been the cornerstone of the University of South Carolina Aiken since its inception in 1961. It was then that the citizens of the Aiken community voiced the need for a local institution of higher education. In a true demonstration of grassroots politics, the community rallied to show their support for a college to be founded in the area. Through state legislation, a governing board was formed, the Aiken County Commission for Higher Education, which continues to oversee the University’s mission.

About Collaboration

The main objective of this collaboration between the two organisations to facilitate academic development, research, exchange of students, faculty, and staff; and the development of educational opportunities to enrich campus internationalization at each institution. This is to enable a student to obtain a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Aiken in a 2+2 program. USCA will accept the students from VSIT who have studied first two years of Mumbai University’s BMS program along with additional courses at VSIT as per the articulation.
