Housing

Our residence halls are more than buildings; they’re state of the art living and learning centers. We have nine different residence halls on campus with a choice of traditional or suite-style living options. Traditional corridor-style living has rooms that open into an interior hallway with shared bathroom facilities on each floor. Suite-style living includes 2 or 3 rooms joined by a common living area and shares bathroom facilities.

City Conditions

“You will do better in Toledo,” say the signs by roads into the downtown area. The slogan, which was introduced in 1913, represents the positive attitude of the Toledo’s residents. Though tourists might not flock to Toledo as they do to some nearby metropolitan areas, residents know all the secrets of what makes the area great, including a low cost of living and a wealth of outdoor activities.

Known as the “Glass City” for its roots in the glass-making industry, Toledo is just a short drive from other major Great Lakes metro areas like Detroit and Cleveland. But that doesn’t mean residents are quick to get out of town. Toledo is home to an array of attractions, from museums to sports venues to kid-friendly activities, which keep those who live here entertained. Big attractions include the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo-area Metroparks and the Toledo Zoo.
