The College Board is in charge of implementing the SAT, a standardized test necessary for college admission students. The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) was previously known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

The SATs were created to assess candidates’ writing, verbal, and mathematical abilities. The SAT is a pencil-and-paper exam taken by students who wish to pursue university courses. The test fairly evaluates pupils’ college readiness across all fifty states. Previously, students seeking admission to a specific course had to take the SAT topic test. However, the College Board has announced that SAT Subjects will be eliminated in June 2021.

The overall intake of BBA applicants primarily depends on their high school academic performance. BBA applicants must have strong grades in the required subjects in their 12th-grade education. Calculus or vectors, data management, and advanced functions are all included. In addition, the overall emphasis is on topics such as English, mathematics, social studies, laboratory science, and so on.

Concerning academic criteria, English language examinations such as IELTS or TOEFL are considered. Overseas students who wish to pursue a BBA in Canada should prepare in advance to meet the requirements of Canadian universities.

SAT is not necessary for all Canadian universities. Still, several, including McGill University, the University of Toronto, and the University of the Bahamas, prefer students who have taken SAT subject tests and have ACT scores.

Apart from such colleges, the majority of colleges give admission without the SAT scores. Some of these universities are the University of British Columbia, Western University, University of Northern British Columbia, University of Saskatchewan, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, University of Waterloo, University of Victoria, and University of Prince Edward Island.

So, if you have taken the SAT and scored well, it adds to your profile and gives your application good weightage. Other requirements for admission to a Canadian institution include extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, work experience, an SOP, a letter of recommendation, and so on.
