Bachelors of Computer Information System
A UFV Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS) can help you gain the analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills required to become a manager in the IT industry. On the way to completing your bachelor’s degree, you can earn a certificate and diploma in Computer Information Systems, enhancing your employment opportunities even before you graduate.
In your first two years, you get introduced to topics such as network and database administration, web design, information systems management, network security, and programming. You also gain the business and communications skills that are essential for success in the workplace.
In your last two years, you can take an optional concentration in systems and networking, software development, or security. Courses focus on building up your technical knowledge, while also equipping you with key skills in project management, statistics, and administration. If you aim for a career in big data or machine learning, you may add Mathematics minor to your degree.

Software Development
This concentration focuses on making software’s more efficient by designing the better User Interface. Developing advanced web portals using graphics

Systems Networking
This focuses more on creating System administrators who can handle internetworking servers installations and maintenance using security and cryptography measures

Security
The concentration primarily focuses on preventing malicious software and attacks. Uses various networking tools to achieve the goal

Eligibility
- Std. XII – HSC / CBSE / A – levels / IB-Diploma or its equivalent in Science with Mathematics as one of the subjects
- Proficiency in English
Transfer Requirements
- Students must successfully complete four semesters of the Bachelor of Science in IT programme in VSIT with 64.5 credit hours of coursework and a minimum average of 55% or cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0.
- Students must satisfy the requirements of the General Education Courses.
- A minimum 6.5 in IELTS
