Scholarships for MBA in the USA for Indian Students

When you pursue MBA, it gives you a thorough knowledge of the field you are going to work in and it’s business aspects. However, pursuing an MBA can be extremely expensive and some potential students never consider pursuing it. 

You can also conduct your own research about the scholarships available for the university of your choice. There are mainly two types of scholarships available for studying abroad which are: Merit-Based and Need-Based scholarships. 

Need-based scholarships are offered to those students who cannot complete their education due to financial problems and merit-based scholarships are offered on the basis of a student’s academic achievements. 

The scholarships which are universal in nature that is, not limited to a particular university which you can apply for are: 

1. Harvey Fellowship 

This scholarship is available for students aspiring to pursue education in business, science and humanities. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 16,000. 

2. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship 

You can apply for this scholarship if you want to study engineering, business or science. It is available for all universities in the United States. 

3. Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for Scheduled Castes, etc 

This scholarship is a need based as well as merit based for students who want to pursue education in business. Only restriction on the scholarship is that you must return to your home country after course completion. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 16,920. 

4. GyanDhan Scholarship 

It is a merit-based scholarship which helps students to pursue their business education to a small degree. It is applicable to all universities in the US. It has a maximum amount of Rs.100,000 per student. 

5. Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award 

This scholarship will enable you to take the first step towards your education. It is merit-based and has a maximum amount of USD 2,500 per student. It is available for all universities in the US. 

6. William Schantz Grant 

This scholarship is available for students pursuing business from an university in the US. The maximum scholarship is USD 1,000 per student. 

7. QS Scholarship for Academic Excellence 

The maximum scholarship is USD 10,000 per student and is available to students who want  to study MBA at an university in the US. 

8. Education for Sustainable Energy Development 

It is available for students wanting to study business from a university in the US. The maximum scholarship is USD 10,000 per student. This scholarship requires you to plan to return to your home country after course completion. 

9. Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship. 

This scholarship is specifically available for students who want to pursue MBA from Harvard University. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 51,000 and the deadline is 31st May 2023. 

10. Paul Harman Shift Scholarship. 

It is available for students who aspire to pursue business from a university in the US. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 2,500 and the deadline is 15th Dec 2022. 

11. Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship. 

This scholarship is available only for women or female students who want to pursue business from a university in the US. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 8,000. 

12. Brian Colombana Scholarship. 

It is available for students aspiring to pursue business from a university in the US. The maximum scholarship is USD 1,000 per student and the deadline is 1st Aug 2022. 

13. Joseph Wharton Scholarship. 

This scholarship is only available for students who want to pursue MBA from Wharton Business School which is a part of University of Pennsylvania. The maximum scholarship per student is USD 83,230 and it is merit-based. 

14. AAUW International Fellowships. 

It is available to all students who wish to pursue business from a university in the US. The scholarship is need as well as merit based and the maximum scholarship per student is USD 18,000.
