About Victoria University
Victoria University of Wellington is a Global Civic University established in 1897. Campus
Kelburn campus is the heart of the first-year experience. Students get access to student support, admin offices, the Central Library, and five faculties.
City Conditions

V-ISA has two main areas of focus. The first is to speak on issues affecting international students at Victoria University of Wellington and the second is to provide various social events to foster a community spirit amongst international students.

About Master of Communication – MC
Draw on the University’s broad field of knowledge and expertise and focus on one of a unique range
of subjects—from political communication and intercultural communication, to media studies,
popular film or music. You can also choose to focus on science communication, in a specialisation
unique to Victoria University of Wellington.
Choose to complete your degree with a research project that focuses on the area that interests you
the most, or an internship at a relevant business or organisation.
Program Structure
- The Master of Communication – MC course is a 2 year Full Time Masters Program.
- Students who have successfully completed the first year of the Mumbai University MA in
Entertainment, Media and Advertising program at VSIT can opt to transfer to the University
of Victoria Wellington. Such students are accepted by the University of Victoria Wellington,
into the 2 nd year of Master of Communication – MC. The final degree will be awarded by the
University of Victoria Wellington – NZ.

advertising, communications and marketing, or supporting and creating policy in the topic you’ve
focused on—like science or media.
