City Conditions

Camden has a humid climate. The winter starts from dec till feb and the temperature is between 5-8 degree Celsius. Otherwise the temperature is fair and does not witness strong cold. The Maximum temperature goes up to 31 degrees Celsius in June –July known called summer.

About Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

A computer Science student will be prepared to contribute to a rapidly changing field by acquiring a thorough grounding in the core principles and foundations of computer science (e.g., techniques of program design, creation, and testing; key aspects of computer hardware; algorithmic principles).

A computer Science student will acquire a deeper understanding of (elective) topics of more specialized interest, and be able to critically review, assess, and communicate current developments in the field.

A computer Science student will be prepared for the next step in their careers, for example, by having done a research project (for those headed to graduate school), a programming project (for those going into the software industry), or some sort of business plan (for those going into startups).

Program Structure

The B.S. (CS) course is a 4-year bachelor's Program. Students will be directly enrolled in 2nd year & will be a part of Mumbai University Bsc(IT) Program.
Students will be studying all articulated courses gathering 30 credits before transfer.
Students who have finished engineering Diploma in CS/IT or Electronics will get lateral entry into the second year of the program will be taught by Vidyalankar as per guidelines given by Rutgers University.
Students who successfully complete 2 semester at Vidyalankar can opt to transfer to Rutgers University directly into the 3rd year of BS(CS) program.
After completing 4 semesters at Rutgers University, students will be awarded BS(CS) degree from Rutgers University.
Accelerated MS- Students wanting to pursue MS in Rutgers and maintain 3.0/4.0 GPA can complete the MS in Computer Science in 1 year and GRE will be waived off.
