About University of South Carolina
Building partnerships has been the cornerstone of the University of South Carolina Aiken since its inception in 1961.
It was then that the citizens of the Aiken community voiced the need for a local institution of higher education. In a true demonstration of grassroots politics, the community rallied to show their support for a college to be founded in the area.
Through state legislation, a governing board was formed, the Aiken County Commission for Higher Education, which continues to oversee the University’s mission.

About Bachelor of Business Administration
The School of Business Administration at the University Of South Carolina, Aiken focuses on creating a caring and learning environment in its accredited undergraduate program. The program prepares students to meet the dynamic global, technological, and ethical challenges of a business and society.
Areas of concentration with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration include Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management.
Students who fulfill the admission requirements of the University may enroll in any general education courses and any business courses at the 100 or 200 level, provided they meet individual course prerequisites. The upper-level business courses (300 level or higher) required for the BSBA degree comprise the SOBA Professional Program. Business Administration students must first satisfy the admission requirements to be admitted into the SOBA Professional Program before they will be allowed to enroll in upper-level business courses.

Program Structure
- The BS - Business Administration course is a 4-year Bachelors Program.
- First and Second Year of the program will be taught by Vidyalankar as per guidelines given by the University of South Carolina.
- Students will be studying all articulated courses gathering 60 credits before transfer
- Students who successfully complete 4 semester at Vidyalankar can opt to transfer to the University of South Carolina directly into the 3rd year of BS(CS) program
- After completing 4 semesters at the University of South Carolina, students will be awarded BBA degree from University of South Carolina
