About the Monash-Vidyalankar articulation program:

Vidyalankar and Monash University have developed a credit transfer program for students who plan to study a bachelor degree in Banking and Finance, International Business, Accounting, Marketing and Business Administration.

Program Structure:

For BMS students
The bachelor degree at Monash is a 3 year program. Students who successfully complete three semesters of VSIT’s BMS program can transfer to Monash University with credits. Students will be accepted into the 2nd year at Monash University.

These students specialise in:

  • Commerce , Economics , Finance at the Clayton campus ;
  • Business, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Marketing , Accounting and International Business at the Caulfield Campus ;
  • Business Administration at Peninsula Campus

For BAF students
The bachelor degree at Monash is a 3 year program. Students who successfully complete four semesters of VSIT’s BAF program can transfer to Monash University with credits. Students will be accepted into the 2nd year at Monash University.

These students specialise in:

  • Commerce , Economics , Finance at the Clayton campus ;
  • Business, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Marketing , Accounting and International Business at the Caulfield Campus ;
  • Business Administration at Peninsula Campus

VSIT’s eligibility criteria:

The following are Vidyalankar’s entry requirements for entry into the first semester of study at VSIT :
XII – HSC / CBSE / A – levels / IB-Diploma or its equivalent in Science / Commerce and Arts.

Eligibility criteria for students transferring to Monash

  1. Students must successfully complete three / four semesters of the BMS / BAF programme in VSIT with 48 credit hours of coursework. Please refer to the specific GPA requirement required in the Monash-VSIT brochure.
  2. Students must have a minimum 40% marks in Business Mathematics
  3. One of the following:
    • Academic IELTS: minimum overall score 6.5/minimum score 6.0 in each band (reading, listening, writing and speaking) OR
    • Paper-based TOEFL: minimum overall score 550/minimum score on Test of Written English 4.5 OR
    • Internet-based TOEFL: minimum overall score 79/minimum score in reading 13; listening 12; writing 21; speaking 18

1.5 or 2 Years with Vidyalankar, India & 2 Years with Monash University

Study Grant for transferring students

Students enrolled in the VSIT-Monash articulation program may be awarded a Monash University Study Grant of AUD $10,000 in the first year of enrolment at Monash, plus an additional AUD $5,000
per semester in the second year of enrolment at Monash. Please check with Monash at the time of lodging your application.
